Into Year One...

Just last Saturday, October 17, 2009 my wife and I celebrated the first 365 days of our married life, year one has passed for us and how swift it seems that time flies. I thought to myself, "if this is how fast a year goes by.. imagine how 50, 75 years come around.." Spending the day reminiscing of the events that happened a year ago, it seemed as though it was yesterday. Vividly recalling the exact same event, at the exact same moment . Looking back on our special day as we remembered it.

As much as the day was a celebration for us, it brought me into thinking on how the first year of our married life went by. It was then that I came to so many realizations.. Every waking moment spent with someone whom you love so much, someone who loves you as much in return is an everyday blessing. Late at night when I look at my wife as she lay beside me, I am always reminded of how lucky I am to have found the one person in this world who makes my life whole. Every day spent is always a learning experience. I learned things about my wife, I never thought I knew and because of her, I learned so many things about me that I have never known.

I love her more everyday.

I know how heaven feels like having her by my side.

1.. 10.. 100.. these are just numbers and if there is one thing the past year has taught me... Marriage is a LIFETIME commitment...

What matters most is that...
